Green Myrio (Myriophyllum pinnatum) is a fast-growing, feathery aquatic plant that adds a soft, flowing texture to freshwater aquariums. It is commonly used as a background plant or for providing shelter for small fish and shrimp. Its vibrant green color and fine leaves make it a visually appealing choice for planted tanks.

1. Light requirements: Thrives under moderate to high lighting. Higher light levels promote denser growth and prevent the lower stems from losing leaves.

2. Water parameters:

   • Temperature: Prefers a range of 68 to 82°F (20 to 28°C).
   • pH level: Best suited for slightly acidic to neutral water, with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.5.
   • Hardness: Adaptable to soft to moderately hard water.

3. Substrate and placement:

   • Can be planted in the substrate or left floating.
   • If planted, anchor the stems in fine-grain substrate to prevent them from floating up.
   • Ideal for background placement due to its tall, bushy growth.

4. Nutrients and CO2:

   • Fertilization: Benefits from regular liquid fertilization, particularly with iron and micronutrients, to maintain healthy growth.
   • CO2 supplementation: Not required but can enhance growth rate and overall plant health.

5. Pruning and maintenance:

   • Grows quickly and requires regular trimming to prevent overgrowth.
   • Pruning encourages bushier growth and prevents lower stems from becoming bare.

6. Propagation:
